Introduction
Welcome to the iGroup BCeSIS Project. This site is specifically for independent schools that are interested in BCeSIS or are currently involved in BCeSIS
The purpose of BCeSIS is to standardize the computer systems used by BC schools to register students, schedule them, and to keep school records.
Currently, there are up to thirty different systems used by different schools and districts to perform these tasks. Student records are kept manually in file folders which are mailed from School to school. Students moving from school to school are processed manually. Communication among schools and with the Ministry of Education is painfully slow.
BCeSIS will speed up the organization of schools and students, leaving schools more time and money to do what is really important – to work with students.
BCeSIS adheres to current BC privacy legistration, so that only people who have your permission to see your data can see your data.
