Who is using High School Report Cards?

Postby andrewsmit » June 17th, 2010, 4:45 pm

We have a number of schools throughout the year who ask us for a list of schools that are using the High School Report Cards so that they can ask them about their experience using it. So if your school is using the High School Report Cards if you could post please your experience below it would be very helpful to other schools, and/or if you are willing to post your schools contact information so that these fellow schools can contact you and talk with you briefly that would be much appreciated as well. Thanks for your help.

I have done report cards on BCESIS for some time now and like it very much. It is not a very complicated process and the report cards are done easily and completely.

We're using it here at LFA. Overall impression is GOOD

However a couple of things on the ol' wishlist:

On the administration side:
- can't add an average grade to the report card
- Not enough options for setting up the appearance

On the Teacher Assistant / Gradebook:
- Gradebook / spreadsheet overwrites manually entered marks every time a term is posted
- Multiple screens for doing the same thing is confusing for some ... like there are 3 screens to enter comments
